Chloe was rescued from a hard life on streets in the Bathurst & Parklawn area. Absolutely terrified when he arrived at the shelter, she gave birth to 4 kittens within days after her arrival. Placed into foster care, she also accepted and mothered a tiny orphaned kitten along with her 4. An absolute wonderful mother she nurtured, cared for and successfully raised all 5 of them. She did very well in foster care, learning to accept and trust people, but regressed when returned to the shelter. Absolutely terrified when she arrived back at the shelter, she would hide every time anyone entered her room and would not make eye contact. Thanks to the unconditional love, patience and persistence of NTCR volunteers, Chloe has learned to trust people, with a slow approach she has decided that he enjoys human touch, interaction and petting. A beautiful short haired tuxedo with stunning amber eyes and a gentle sweet natured soul. Chloe has so much love to give once you get passed her initial shyness and insecurities. Good with her roommates, Chloe would do best with a mature family home that is willing to show her patience, tenderness and kindness as she blossoms into the confident cat she longs to be. If you want to be the one to show Chloe what it is like to have, unconditional love, a “furever” home and family, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.
