I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Houndie came to the rescue from a high kill shelter after being surrendered by the same person that adopted him from the same shelter 4 years prior - he was not in the best shape when he was turned into the shelter. He has basically no hair from untreated allergy problems, severe ear infections and some horrible teeth issues from chewing on rocks for many years. He has been treated for all his issues and is doing great. He is estimated to be about 5 years old. He loves other dogs, does well with cats, house and crate trained. He loves to hold a couch down or someones lap. He is smaller weighing under 50 pounds. Those beautiful amber eyes will go right to your heart. Houndie would do better with a fenced in yard. He also does well with kids. Amazing dog that is going to be a great addition to some lucky family. Houndie's adoption fee is $250.00 and that includes his neuter, all vaccines current, deworming, microchip, current on heartworm and flea medication and when adopted he will come with a one month supply of heartworm prevention and flea prevention. If you are interested in adopting Houndie please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. Vet reference check for any current dogs in the home and a home visit is also part of the application process.
We are located in Western North Carolina. We do adopt out of the area with transport, although, certain dogs have to be adopted locally, and that is always stated in the description. If you adopt a puppy out of our area or choose to use a different vet, we have an application amendment to be filled out as well for the spay/neuter & vaccine contract.

Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our rescues are fostered in separate homes, as we do not have a facility yet. We do have occasional adoption events, which can be found on our website calendar at www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org or on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/boxerbuttsandothermutts
Our Adoption Process...
Our fees are: $250.00 (for All Ages) *Unless otherwise noted
All of our rescues will be spay/neutered prior to adoption, unless they are under 6 months of age or recommended by our vet. All dogs will be micro chipped prior to adoption and come with a care package at the time of adoption
Our application process is as follows: First an application should be filled out at our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org on the Foster/Adoption Application page. A vet reference check is done to verify all the animals currently in the home are UTD on vaccines as well as Heart Worm Preventatives. A phone interview will be conducted, and the final step is a home check.
