Harry's Story...
This litter of pit babies arrived at our rescue 4 weeks old on 9/17 with a horrible case of ringworm. They're now fat and healthy and looking for their forever homes. They are extremely social, a couple are shy when separated from the group. They should do well in any responsible family. They are getting fixed on 11/16 and go home after that. They have all 3 puppy shots, Bordatella, microchip, flea and hw, and dewormings. Please visit www.puppiesareworthsaving.com for policies and an application. Do not email without an application. Adoption fee $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Forest Hill Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Forest Hill, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Forest Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
