Bear (Neutered)'s Story...
"Bear" is a stunning 7-month old male Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered by his owner on November 5, 2016. This good-looking young man has a shiny black medium smooth coat, a long fluffy tail, and a handsome face with beautiful brown eyes and long floppy ears. "Bear" has a sweet, gentle disposition and an extremely friendly, easygoing personality. He loves children and is good with other dogs. When we were outside taking Bear's photographs, he could see dogs playing in our meet/greet years and watched them wistfully as though he would love to have joined in their games. "Bear" has been kept indoors and is housebroken. He currently weighs 61.4 lbs. and will likely be a large boy when he reaches maturity (and grows into his huge paws) "Bear" was neutered on November 8, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear (Neutered), a Marietta Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
