Mushy's Story...
Meet our Mushy. He's a four month old Gray Tabby with big ears and lots of white whiskers. Mushy has BIG paws, and might grow up to be a big boy! He loves to be held and cuddled and purrs all the time. His hobbies are getting and giving hugs and kisses. Mushy was found trying to check into a motel for a good night's sleep and room service. We don't know why he was homeless, but we want to find him a great home. So, if you are up for naps, cuddling and room service to this wonderful kitten, come meet Mushy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mushy, a Sherman Oaks Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
