Hi, I'm Buster. I'm a survivor. You see I was found on a stranger's porch where I was waiting for someone to find me. I was malnourished, living on dirt and twigs and bald over most of my body. But I really wanted to live and just be a dog. I was one of the lucky ones. My K9 Paw Print foster mom found me and took me in. She and her family and the family dogs were all very gentle with me... cuddling with me on the couch, rubbing my belly and giving me so much love and support I couldn't help but get better. Now I eat real dog food and my fur is growing in soft and full. I was pretty weak when they first found me, so I can't do everything really easily yet, but I watch my foster fur siblings to see how it's done. My foster mom says I try to mimic the others and sometimes it's pretty funny. I'm happy that I can make her laugh. I'm pretty low key. I love sitting with you and just looking at you. I'm very gentle and I'm still a little shy and may always be, but I'll quietly hang out with you and be your best friend. I'm potty trained, crate trained, good with gentle dogs and cats and older gentle children. All in all, I'm pretty low maintenance. If you have a special heart that is patient and kind and won't mind being cuddled and adored, then fill out at application for me, Buster Keaton at k9ppr.org :) Buster is a 1 Year Old Male Maltese Chihuahua, 6 lbs., potty trained, crate trained, good with dogs/cats & older children. Shy, but warms up, cuddly and low maintenance.
