Mr. Fluffy (ETAA)'s Story...
My name is Mr. Fluffy because of the obvious. I am an interesting puppy because I look nothing like my mom who is a lab/basset mix. Clearly, dad was some sort of an Aussie. Regardless, I am quite stunning and should grow to be 50 pounds or so. Remember that puppies are work and I will need lots of attention to potty train and learn manners. I am only 8 weeks old but will be ready for my forever home on Friday, 11/25. Please save me some Thanksgiving leftovers!! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Fluffy (ETAA), a Washington Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
