Hi there, I'm Dan the Man! I am a young fellow who enjoys being with my family. Pats and ear scratches are my favorite. And toys are really great! I often chase them and carry them around the house. When my sister is not looking, I like to grab her toys! Hee hee hee! When she catches me, she chases me, and that's fun, too! I am very friendly, and I think I would like a dog friend to play with in my new home. Speaking of my new home, I am a good boy inside. I have nice house manners. I don't bark much. In fact, I am rather quiet, and I have couch potato tendencies. I make it a daily habit to ball up on the couch and play pawsies with my sister :) I am still a young guy, so I will need continued training to be successful. I like to eat super fast, so I have a training bowl to help me slow down. I am good at riding in the car, and I am just beginning to learn the joys of leash walking. I have a sweet personality, and I am perfect for any family with kids and other dogs. So what are you waiting for? Grab an application and some toys, and let's start playing!

About Us: National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) is not a shelter. We are a not-for-profit, tax-exempt coalition of Pyr rescuers and rescue groups. We save Pyrs and Pyr mixes across the country and place them in approved foster homes so we know how they will interact with your family. Please consider adopting or fostering. Every dog who is fostered or adopted makes room for another Pyr coming out of a kill shelter. Prior to adoption, NGPR dogs are fostered for a minimum of two weeks (usually more), spayed or neutered and fully vetted. Dogs coming from out of area are certified with a USDA health certificate before going to their new homes. Our rescuers adhere to the highest placement standards and will take back any dog whose adoption does not succeed. Visit www.nationalpyr.org to learn more about us, our mission and our breed.
