Daisy's Story...
HI HELLO HEY THERE! My name is Daisy!! I'm a sunshiney, happy-go-lucky 6 month old terrier mix! Right now I weigh about 22lbs but when I'm at my full grown size, I should probably be around 40lbs!

I'm a silly, playful, cuddly, sweet dog. I've met kids - I do well with those that like to play as much as I do! I do get quite excited with kids, so will need help working on my manners. I get just as excited meeting other dogs too...I play quite rough, so I may not be a very good companion for a smaller dog. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to chase cats! They are so fast. If they stand up to me, I mostly leave them alone though. I'm not super interested in toys, as I'd much rather play games that involve running and people!

I am spayed, current on all my shots, microchipped and made sure I`m as healthy as I am happy by a certified vet! My adoption fees are $300! To fill out an adoption application go to www.calicanrescue.com. Don`t worry - I`ll stay here.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Edmonton Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
