Bauer was surrendered to Furkids because his owner did not have enough time for him. That’s not a problem for Bauer now! He gets to spend time in a foster home where he is pampered and loved along with his foster mom’s personal dogs. His foster mom reports that Bauer is sweet and barks only to let you know he wants something (like your food!). In his foster home, he is house trained, although when the weather is bad he prefers to use puppy pads. Bauer evidently wasn’t use to being picked up. He takes a few days to warm up to new people so that they can pick him up easily. He will try to get away from people he doesn't know when they reach for him, even just to pet him. Although Bauer was skinny when he came to Furkids, he has gained weight. He’s not a chow hound, though. He’ll eat the amount of dog food he wants and saves some for later.
Bauer has a heart shape spot on his side, which is a sure fire indication that he will love his forever family. Since Bauer's estimated birthdate is 10/2/2004, his adoption fee is reduced to $75. If you want to know more about Bauer and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application. Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
