Lucas is very energetic and playful. He loves to chase toys, especially any kind of wand toys. He loves eating treats and getting head and neck scratches. He is very curios and loves to explore. He will go in just about any crevice he can find just to see what’s there. He just recently discovered the windows and enjoys watching all the foot traffic he can see. He loves to sunbathe and relax during the day or catch as many catnaps as he can. He eats his kibble very well but isn’t too fond of canned food. He uses the litter box without any issues. He is very visitor friendly and will come right out to greet people. Loud noises will frighten him pretty easily and he is wary of very small children. He is adjusting extremely well to his new dog siblings and seems very tolerant of their excitement. Lucas can get very energetic at night but a few minutes spent with his wand toys and he’s ready for bed.

About Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats from becoming victim to shelter euthanasia, while educating the public on the importance of adoption and spay and neuter in our community. Our 100% volunteer staff is dedicated to saving pregnant and nursing animals, as well as, orphaned puppies, homeless adult pets, and any unwanted animal, whether sick or healthy, black or spotted, if there is an open foster home and available funds. Every animal we rescue is placed in a foster home, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested, and provided any other necessary medical care. Once the animal is ready for adoption, they will remain in our foster program until a perfect match, between the animal and a new family, is made.
