Bucket's Story...
Bucket is going to make a lucky family very happy. Although he's 11 years old and 30 lbs, he is full of life and personality. He is seeking someone with whom he can have an interactive relationship. Fetch is a favorite activity of his, he will invite you to play. Or, he may just be content to carry his toys in his mouth. When he shows his belly, he's telling you he wants you to rub it. He likes to sit close to you on the sofa so you can give him a pet. He knows all of the cues for going on a walk - and he gets super excited when he knows he's going for a walk! If you ask him to give you a high five, he will. His bed and blanket are in the bedroom, and he will sometimes put himself to bed before everyone else is ready. He loves go burrow under the covers. If it gets too cold, he will ask if he can sleep in the bed with you. During sporting events on TV if you cheer loudly, he will start to bark and howl. He is excellent when meeting new adults. Oh. he absolutely LOVES to ride in the car.

Children are absolutely off limits for Bucket. He's not a fan of storms, but if you help him through them with positive methods, he does OK. He's house-trained and does fine in a crate when needed. BUCKET DOES BEST AS AN ONLY DOG!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bucket, a Courtland Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Courtland, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Courtland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Courtland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Courtland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Courtland paves the way for another one to be saved.
