Princess Hattie was surrendered to NYCACC Manhattan where Rescue Dogs Rock NYC found her and brought her into rescue. Her medical needs were addressed, and we are now working with her in foster to determine the appropriate home. She has endured much, dumped at 8 years old and in obvious pain at the shelter, a scary place with awful sounds and smells. She has healed medically, and we are now working with a trainer to determine the type of environment where she will blossom. Princess Hattie is up to date on shots, and good with people. At this time, we suggest a home where she is the only dog and a home without cats. She appears to do better if using the 'gentle leader' leash rather than the traditional leash when walking with her.
