Hooch's Story...
Hi .. my name is Hooch.

I am about 4 years old and I was an owner surrender to a shelter because my owners were moving and didn't want to take me with them.

I am a good boy with my humans but I do need to be in a home with no other dogs.

When I came in to the rescue I was very ill and had no hair. The nice doctor found out after many tests that I had no thyroid function and so I will have to be on medication for the rest of my life. It is very important that I do not miss my medication as it will make me very sick again so my new family must commit to making sure that I always have the proper veterinary care and attention!!

My hair is still growing back but I am still a little bald. :D

Please could you give me the home I deserve and promise to love me unconditionally the way that I will love you??

All adopters must live in Ohio, or within a 2 hour driving distance of the border.

We do not adopt out to families with children under 8 years old.

Adoption donation is $450

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hooch, a Strongsville English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Strongsville, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Strongsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Strongsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Strongsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Strongsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
