We are a small group of individuals dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming white German Shepherd Dogs into their forever homes.
We are entirely volunteer based and motivated soley by our passion and concern for German Shepherd Dogs.
Our primary focus is to best match dog and owner thereby increasing the liklihood that our dogs will live their entire life where we place them.
WGSR is available to address questions and concerns for the life of the dog you adopt. We offer training, socialization sessions and trainer referrals.
In addition, we work with surrendering owners in need of assistance in order to address issues that would enable them to keep their companions.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Since there is considerable variation within our naturally protective and territorial breed, we do not do on-site adoptions. We do, however, attend many events throughout the year in order to educate the public both about our breed and rescue in general. We promote spay & neutering and responsible breeding. We follow-up with all those expressing an interest in adoption post event.
Our Adoption Process...

Our dogs are shown by appointment following a pre screening process. Introductions to all family members and other pets in the home are conducted to ensure compatability in additionn to a home visit.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to placement.
