Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tanner! He's such a sweetie! He was saved two hours before he was sentenced to die at a high-kill shelter along with his brother Prince. We saw his photograph and just couldn't bear to see such a gorgeous pup die for no reason at all. He's obviously been someone's pup. This boy is divine. His talents are looking adorably worried. His indulgence is chewing on chunky bully sticks and searching for the squeaker in stuffed toys. His passion is being cuddled. Tanner is 8 - 10 months old and he currently weighs 40 pounds. He is crate trained and learning to walk nicely on the leash. Tanner's DNA was done with the Mars Wisdom Panel and the results are that Tanner is a Labrador Retriever/ German Shepherd mix with some cattle dog.
Tanner is in private foster care. In order to make arrangements to visit him, please fill out an application to adopt at our website: TexasAnimalGuardians.org - select the Adopt! tab.
Tanner is neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is house trained, crate trained, he knows a few basic obedience terms and he is learning to do loose leash walking. If you are interested in Tanner please contact the adoption coordinator at Texas Animal Guardians at tagadoptions@texasanimalguardians.com. You can also text her at (512) 557-2286. Please do not phone - just text - but don't contact her if you have not already submitted your interest via an e-mail. For more information, please visit our website at: http://www.texasanimalguardians.com and go to the Adopt tab to read our adoption procedure. If the description states the puppy or dog is in private foster care, please fill out the application to adopt form. This is required to pre-screen all applicants. We want to protect our foster families. Thank you for understanding.
