Karaka, a dainty orange & white youngster approx 6 months old (b'day is 6/22/16). She gets her name from the orange berries of a tree in New Zealand. (Amusingly, she was originally assumed to be a male and was first called Marmaduke!) She is a sweet, timid little blossom, and easily scared, but once she gets to know you, she warms up & becomes quite affectionate, enjoying being held & petted; and loves to play - her favorite is a feather wand toy; she can get quite ferocious going after it!
It takes her awhile to get used to other cats she doesn't know, but she likes the dogs at her foster home (rubs up against them and wants to cuddle with them) and is ready for her own forever home! She needs a tranquil environment without too many other animals or children & would love to have one of her sisters join her, or be adopted into a home with other cats who love kitties!
Karaka is spayed, combo tested for Felv/FIV and is negative, microchipped, vaccinated and parasite free! Her adoption fee is $70, or adopt two for $100!
