United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A5007181 Peanut is a cheery 11-year-old fawn female Chihuahua mix who was surrendered to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center by her owners for “landlord problems.” Weighing 11 lbs, Peanut is a sturdy, confident dog. She is totally non-reactive to other dogs, despite the chaos of the care center; she just walks right by them without a wink. Peanut is pretty and stoc ky--a total chunky monkey who would do well with a more healthy diet and some nice fun walks. This lively little girl will follow you anywhere and will be totally happy lounging on your lap for afternoon snuggles. Peanut will be a fantastic best friend to give you kisses and cuddles as an indoor dog.
