Princess ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Princess #4317 is a 4-year-old female, Lab mix. This young lady is a real sweetheart. She is housebroken and crate trained. She knows basic commands and is good on leash. She is good with other dogs when introduced properly. She does try to be a bit dominate over some dogs. She is also good with cats and kids. She weighs 60 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an "old" dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess ADOPTION PENDING, a Waldorf Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
