Daisy's Story...
Shy, Stunning, Unique- Meet Daisy. She was rescued from a shelter in NC when she was too shy for anyone to consider her for adoption. Of course that only means a matter of four days that they are available and time is up. Dogs hidden in the corner of their kennels - too shy to respond to possible adopters never make it out of the shelters. But Daisy caught out eye...the look in her eyes showed a beautiful girl who was just afraid of where he life had taken her.

Spayed, brought current on all vaccines, microchipped and heart worm negative, our Daisy is currently being fostered in NH. She needs a patient, non threatening and gentle leader. She is smart and is learning from her foster mom things that will make her a great pet for someone someday and a great companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Billerica German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Billerica, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
