Skeebus's Story...
Skeebus is an 8 year old Shiba Inu/Chow Mix. He is a low energy guy looking for a quiet household to just hang out. Skeebus enjoys car rides and slow walks to the park and back. He would really love a buddy to watch movies and nap with. Skeebus has had a lot of obedience training and is very well learned in his manners and leash walking. He is a true gentleman and so sweet! Skeebus just wants a family of his own to veg out on the couch with, take slow walks, and just be loved on.

Skeebus is good with other dogs, housetrained, crate training, walks wonderfully on a leash, and has excellent manners. He is an easy-going guy. Skeebus has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting Skeebus, please fill out an adoption application located on our website at www.heartsforhoundsrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skeebus, a Virginia Beach Shiba Inu/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu/Chow Chow for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Shiba Inu/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu/Chow Chow breeders who help with Shiba Inu/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
