  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

We don't know Sadie's story but we do know that she had the face of an angel and leaving her to a fate of euthanasia was not an option once we knew of her time being up.

Sadie has been spayed, brought current on all vaccines, microchipped and is heart worm negative. She's a shy and cautious girl but, currently with one of the best training fosters we have, in NH she is learning very quickly- as are we!

We have learned she is so smart, she is good with other dogs, she was fearful outside of many "unknowns" but is overcoming each fear one by one, she did not know about steps and has learned to maneuver them. Each day there is incredible progress in her learning and skills and we are certain she will make an awesome family pet. She is doing so well being socialized.

You can learn all about her on her very own Facebook page at:

About Diamond Dogs Rescue Inc - NJ Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue focus is on adult dogs from the southeast that are in high kill shelters. Our plan is to fully vet as needed, evaluate and train as needed in preparation for adoption. We place our rescues in a foster home setting to prepare our dogs for a home of their own and to determine the best match for that rescue. Please keep in mind that a rescues are located in foster homes up the east coast. They can be transported to their forever home

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs are all in foster care throughout NJ , and New England and various other locations. We do NOT have a physical location for your to visit our dogs, They are seen by appointment in foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application to be filled out by all adopters. We require 3 references plus a vet reference as well as a home visit.Once you have been approved for adoption by filling out an application completing a home visit and having your references checked, we will put you in touch with the foster to meet the dog with your family. Sometimes we will do a home visit and bring the dog to the home visit after your application is approved.

Our adoption fee is $300 for adult dogs, unaltered pups under 6 months require an additional $50 "refundable" spay/neuter contract fee.
