My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Klondike is a living example of the phrase ' A soft heart is a strong heart'.
Despite her tough beginning, she is one of the most loving and affectionate kitten you will meet.
She loves to snuggle herself around her foster mum's neck like a scarf and purrrrrr away.
There is softness in her purr too - with the sweetest tone and involving little coos and chirps.

She can be a little shy around new people at first but when things quiet down she will come, make friends and then happily stay there asking for attention.

Klondike was taking eye medicine in one eye due to a medical condition.
She stopped her drops on the 23rd of December and her eye is doing great now.

As a result of this eye condition, the vet says Klondike will always have one eye smaller than the other.
There should not be any other long term issues once her eye drops are finished.
Being the strong girl that she is, she takes her medication well, doesn’t hide and doesn’t make more than small protests - no one likes getting eye drops!

Klondike will make a great companion to someone who will give her love, handle her gently and, when she needs it, reassure her that she is safe.
In return, she will shower you with lots of cuddles and snuggles.

Klondike will do best as an only kitten with someone who is home at least part of the time.

*****Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.****
