Miko's Story...
Meet sweet and playful Miko! This young, medium sized boy (35lbs) is an adopter's dream. He loves children, other dogs, and just about everyone he meets (especially if they have yummy treats and toys to play with).

Miko walks nicely on leash, is learning how to sit politely for his meals, and sleeps soundly in a kennel at night.

MIko would do well in any type of family with lots of love to give, who will dedicate time to ensuring he can be the best dog he can be! That includes daily exercise, healthy food and most of all, LOVE!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miko, a Edmonton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
