My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet 1-year old girl is a 32-pound bundle of energy. She likes meeting other people and dogs, and gets along with everyone. Lilo loves to play with dogs and people, wrestle and chase other dogs, and most of all, she loves chasing tennis balls and Frisbees. Lilo is very curious and loves to explore and find new and interesting games. If there isn’t a human or other dog to play with, she entertains herself with toys. She LOVES toys!

Lilo is still very much a puppy. She is affectionate, a little silly, and very, very active. She does well with the 3 other dogs in her foster home. Lilo would also be fine as the only dog, as long as her people are very active and willing to give her plenty of exercise daily. She would also be an excellent sport dog prospect. If you’ve ever wanted to try dog agility, disc dog competition or flyball, Lilo would most likely do well at any or all of these activities.

Lilo is crate trained and house broken. Probably because Lilo is so young, she doesn’t yet have a good “off switch”, meaning she is very, very busy most of the time. If she’s out of her crate, she’s on the move! However, she will probably settle down quite a bit over the next year as she matures. When she goes to her crate, she settles nicely and is quiet and calm. She is also an excellent traveler. She is very relaxed riding in a crate inside the car.

Lilo will be ready for her forever home very soon. If you have questions about Lilo, or want more information, please comment below and her foster Mom will get back to you as soon as possible.
