Mia's Story...
My name is Mia. I use to have a family but for whatever cruel reason they took me on a car ride and left me by the riverbank with 17 adult feral kitty cats. It was so dark and cold and I was so afraid. After about 3 days the kind lady who feeds all the kitties started talking to me. She could see I was cold and getting sick from being outside. She had the sweetest voice and warmest little hands. She asked if I would like to go to a foster home. I didn't know what that meant but I wanted to trust her. I am so glad I did ! After 5 days of warmth, food and love, I feel SO GOOD that I am even playing with cat toys. I was at the vet yesterday where they say I am felv negative, spayed, with rabies shot. I am not sure what all that means but they also said Mia Is Ready For Adoption !! They explained to me what that means. A FAMILY OF MY OWN THAT WOULD NEVER LEAVE ME ALONE AGAIN. My name is Mia and I approve of this message.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Evans Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Evans, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Evans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evans paves the way for another one to be saved.
