Midnight's Story...
This is Midnight. She is a dark colored calico who is very sweet and shy. She was found in a back alley with her mom and 4 siblings. They were about 8 weeks when I brought her and her brother Bobbi (also pictured) home to foster. They were very scared at first but have started warming up to love and warm laps. They would like to stay together but we would consider separate adoptions. Bobbi is a very independent little man who may need some time adjusting on his own, but they both are very sweet and playful.

Midnight is spayed, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. She and Bobbi are about 2 months old. They are microchipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midnight, a Colmar Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
