Hard Knocks who is now named 'Gilbert or Gilbear' was recently relinquished along with another one of our greys through no fault of his own. His family fell on hard times and felt it best to return him and Smyrna 'Sissy'. He is in a foster home with other dogs and doing great.
Foster Update 11/5/2016:
Gilbert loves his person! He follows me around from room to room. When we go for walks, he walks nicely next to me on leash, pressing against me for reassurance. Like most greys, all he wants is a soft bed, good food, and your company. He would most likely be able to be an only dog, as well. Gilbear is 4 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
KS Hard Knocks is a very handsome boy who we all just feel in love with. He's slightly reserved at first but with a very sweet personality that was endearing to the volunteers. He observes everything around him cautiously. He loves to have his head and ears rubbed and seemed to purr. He is 2 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
