From the Foster:
Tenley is a super sweet, playful pup! She goes potty outside most of the time and does well when left alone. She is currently living with two large male dogs and she's great with other dogs, too. Some she might need a little more time to get used to than others, but so far she's been good with everyone she's met . As far as kitties, we think she would probably do okay with dog savvy cats - she was in a home with one and had no aggression at all, just wanted to play :) She has been with us since July and has never been crated, but is fine. While we are gone s he LOVES to chew on her stuffed toys, and hasn't chewed on anything she's not supposed to. At home, she really enjoys being outside in the yard or snuggling up with us on the couch. If you are looking for a sidekick who loves to cuddle with you all the time, you found your girl! Tenley would love a fenced yard and does well with respectful children.
She does need work with leash manners and is very excitable when people walk in the door. She can get protective when new people enter the house, so being put away until she knows the new people & having a chance to meet them properly first works the best! Once she knows they are 'good people', she is their best friend, like everyone else she knows! Right now, Tenley only knows "sit" but is very food motivated and we are working on her manners. She will make a great addition to an active home.
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
