Jack Frost's Story...
Meet Jack Frost! He's a lovable, loyal, 9 year old Chihuahua that is eager to find his forever home. He has proven himself to do well with other dogs, indoor cats, and older children while hanging out at his foster home. He is house broken and crate trained but would much prefer to snuggle with his human companions. He does have a mild grass allergy in the summer (but seriously who doesn't around here, right?)

Jack Frost is ready to keep you cozy and warm this winter so come meet your perfect snuggle buddy before it gets too much colder outside.

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all medical costs while in our care.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please visit our website and fill out an application online at www.familyadditiondogrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack Frost, a Charlotte Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
