stewieStewie is a 7 year old brown tabby mix that Kitty Devore rescued from the shelter after his previous owner left him there to die, alone. He spent nearly a month in the small metal shelter cage before he got out. Why anyone would give up this quiet, laid back dude who enjoys bed sleeping, head and bum scratches, and snuggling is beyond us. Stewie is an absolute gentleman: he comes when called, won’t bug for pets but loves the attention, and he gives you a loud purr to let you know he appreciates your affection.

Despite being let down by his previous owners, Stewie trusts people and is an excellent human companion. While he is not aggressive towards other animals, he would prefer to be in quiet home with other calm cats, or have the place all to himself!
