Brooklyn's Story...
Brooklyn is a handsome but shy, 6 month old doberman/shepherd mix. He is a little timid around people, since someone obviously wasn't nice to him, but warms up quickly with treats. He does well with other dogs and loves to give them kisses. He is submissive and will back off if other dogs get too wild or rough with him. He loves to play and enjoys being outdoors. With some training and socialization he would make a great companion buddy to be active with. He may do best in a home with another dog since they really bring him out of his shell. Him and his brother Bronx were almost euthanized because of their timid behavior but they are such sweet boys if you give them a chance to be we couldn't let that happen. This sweet boy will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 11/12 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this boy, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooklyn, a Fort Collins Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
