Monty's Story...
Monty, 8 years old and 6 pounds, is a sweet boy with lots of love and snuggles to give. He loves going for car rides, playing with other dogs and taking long naps snuggled with anyone who is near! He is great on a leash or in a cart while shopping, and loves the attention he gets while out and about. Monty would be the perfect companion for someone who isn't on the go, but would also thrive in a family with adults or older kids who want to take him everywhere! He is good about going potty outside. He loves mealtime and will dance to show his excitement. Monty gets along well with all other dogs, people and older kids. This little guy will steal your heart and love you forever! If you have room in your heart and your home for this sweet little guy, please fill out an application found at www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you call so you can meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
