Hi my name is River! I am a 1 year old female cat who came into the shelter with my friend Indigo. I'm a sweet girl who loves rubbing up against the volunteers and getting a nice head rub. I'm curious and would love a new home to explore and a new family to start over with. I'm available for adoption now from Oceana County Animal Shelter.
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this cat's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. Adoption fee is $35, and you receive certificates for $25 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already fixed.

If we are not available when you call, please leave a brief message with your name and number and we will be happy to return your call. We are located on Baseline Road, between Hart and Shelby, about one mile east of Oceana Drive, on the south side of the road by the airport.
