We call him "Gene, the dancing machine". He's a small black dog with longish hair and a tail that curls over his back. He's very playful and very helpful. He helps mop the floor and bites at the hose. Shy around men at first but once he warms up to you he's your best friend in the whole world.
Gene, Border Collie & Terrier Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About SUGARFOOT FARM RESCUE

About Our Rescue Group...

Sugarfoot Farm is located on 115 acres in Columbia, Kentucky. When we moved to Kentucky from Connecticut, we planned on continuing our horse breeding business as well as Australian Cattle Dog Rescue. Originally we rescued only ACD's but found it hard to say no to the other innocent faces pressed against the pens. So we opened up our rescue to all breeds and became SUGARFOOT FARM RESCUE.

SFR is a nonprofit, 100% volunteer organization. Our mission is to adopt animals in danger and provide for their health concerns. Our goal is to place all rescued animals into good homes.

Before an animal is adopted, they each receive a health exam, shots, wormer, and are spayed or neutered. Once an animal is safe and healthy, they are adopted out to families that will provide good homes for them.

We love our pets and want to adopt them out to people who will love them as much as we do!

SFR also offers low cost microchip services and spay/neuter vouchers.

Our Adoption Process...

We do not have a set adoption fee and ask you for a reasonable donation to help us offset our costs. Please consider the fact that our dogs are vaccinated and spayed/neutered before they are adopted, as well as their daily care. This is all done at our expense.

All donations are accepted and appreciated. As a 501 (c)(3) Public Charity, donations are tax deductible (as allowed by law).
