Judah's Story...
Judah is a smaller medium sized dog or a larger small dog. He is just the right size. Full of fun and love and energy. He is full grown but still young at under 2 years old. We are not sure how he is with dogs but we think he could be worked with and if he had his social skills built up he should be fine. He is currently in our Frankfort adoption location however not on adoption floor due to space. Fill out an application online at www.alsiptotherescue.org. We will require a home visit for her to make sure she adjusts well into her Forever Home.
Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home their new rescue they feel they have the support and access to all resources which ATTR can provide. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Judah, a St John Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in St John, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in St John.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St John already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St John breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St John paves the way for another one to be saved.
