Thor's Story...
Thor is a beautiful great big puppy, less than a year old!
He was dropped off at a Wildlife Refuge and he didn't quite fit in with the residents there!! Way too big and active, so a volunteer there took him home and is fostering Thor for us now!
He is very strong and very active! He needs to be socialized and leash trained. He is very smart and learns quickly.
An active family with a fenced yard is what Thor needs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
