Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Dixie, one of our new rescue arrivals! At nine years young, Dixie the Chihuahua seems to have ants in her pants because she is nothing but wiggles when you say hello, eager to be held (all the better for her to kiss your face at close range). Tiny in stature but big in heart, Dixie would make a wonderful companion for anyone seeking a snugglebug - she would love nothing more than a warm forever home of her own and a person (or people) to share the cold winter months with! Because of Dixie’s size and her preference for quiet, mellow environments, she would prefer a home with humans over 10 years old. We are unsure of how Dixie does with cats right now, but we can tell you that she’s a big hit with people!
