Nila is a special little girl. She is a 9 year old Chihuahua and weighs about 8.5 pounds.
Nila was brought to us by someone who got her from the owner. She had a lump on her belly that just kept growing and growing. When she was brought to us we thought this was a horrible tumor. What it turned out to be was a huge hernia!! All of her intestines were outside of her body in a large sac. The Dr had to do a very involved surgery to get everything back in its correct place. Nila was spayed during the surgery and is healing nicely now.
She just went to a new foster home where she is very happy. She loves playing with the other dogs and getting much needed attention from her foster parents.
We haven't tested Nila with kids or cats yet.
If you would like to meet her please fill out an application from our website.
