My name is Katrina, and I am a very sweet, beautiful silver tabby with white DSH girl who was born about November 2013. My most striking features are my big, round, dazzling grey-green eyes which just about take your breath away. The way I show you that I like you and want a little attention is that I will rub around your legs.
I was adopted as a kitten, but -- you know how it is -- my family is now expecting a new baby, so they decided that they don't want me any more through no fault of my own. I'm so sad because I was bonded to the teenager in the family with whom I used to sleep every night. It doesn't seem fair because I thought I was a member of their family, but I guess 'different strokes for different folks.'
I had led a pretty sheltered existence and wasn't used to a lot of change, so it took me awhile to adjust to my new foster home. Gosh there were so many new smells of other cats as well as dogs that when my foster mom got near me, I was frightened and would growl and swat at her (with my claws in, of course). I wanted to warn her that I was scared, but I ended up trusting her pretty quickly once I got to know her. Hey, maybe she will let me sleep with her now that we're BFF.
So now I'm looking for a new family who will give me my lifetime home. I just need them to be patient with me at first until I get used to them. Once I'm not scared any more, I will love them forever. I'm theirs - heart and soul!
Could that be your family? You'll never know until you meet me, but just be prepared that I might mesmerize you with my pale aqua eyes. You might just fall in love with me.
Katrina is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. About Buster's Friends

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
