Winnie-Passed Away. RIP's Story...
Update: We have sad news to share with you. Our sweet Winnie, who we rescued from the shelter at the beginning of November 2016, became very ill and passed. Before she passed, she showed the first symptoms of vomiting and lack of appetite. Tests confirmed elevated liver enzymes and pancreatitis. It is believed to be due to some type of toxin. Possibly mushrooms. Symptoms then evolved effecting her neurological system. We're absolutely heart broken over this loss. Our sweet, snuggly, perfect angel, Winnie, crossed over in the arms of her rescuer. We are blessed that we rescued her, but sad her time with us was so short. Thank you for your love and support. Winnie will be missed.

----------------------------
Winnie is a princess! She wants to make sure her forever family knows that she likes pink and boy is she pretty in pink. Winnie is sweet as can be. She will snuggle in your lap or by your side. She is not shy with her kisses. And she love belly rubs!

Winnie would be fine in a home with other dogs or solo. She loves being with people. She is great on walks and does well in the car. Winnie is crate trained and tucks herself into her crate when she is sleepy. She would love it if you wanted to buy her a big pink bed with monogram letters.

Winnie is 8.5 pounds. We think a more healthy weight would be about 7 pounds. So right now this princess is watching her waistline. Winnie is 6 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie-Passed Away. RIP, a Santa Clara Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Santa Clara, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Santa Clara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Clara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Clara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Clara paves the way for another one to be saved.
