Meet Honey B! Her foster mom says her name suits her perfectly because she reminds her of a Honey Badger, except she's a whole lot cuter. Honey B is an easy going 3 year old Presa Canario that is fairly new to The Bullpen. She is current on her vaccines, spayed, housebroken, crate trained and currently working on her basic obedience and leash skills. Our Honey B seems to have well...overindulged a bit on too many sweets because she is a bit on the heavy side. We are working on getting her down to a healthier weight so she can enjoy the active life like all the other young dogs her age. Honey B is good with large dogs and we are very confident that she will be great with small dogs, children, and could live in peace with the felines. As we learn more, we will post updates. We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
