My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam is posted as a courtesy. He lives in Richmond, Va.

Sam is a 12 year old (born 08/25/04), 39 lbs, buff cockapoo.

Sam is very food motivated. He can sit, down (lay), roll over, leave it and Stay. However, stay is not his strongest command. He is always eager to play ball and fetch. He will bring you his ball and ask to play. Very smart. You can hide tiny treats all over room and he will find each one.

He has a couple of minor conditions which are controlled with a pill every other day and a spray once or twice a week.

Sam wants love and attention a lot!! He thinks he is a lap dog and wants to be close to you. He loves all people but will jump up on them. He loves all dogs – does well at dog park.

He is potty trained and has never had a problem. Uses a doggie door but even when that is shut he will wait at back door until you notice him. He has never had an accident since he was a puppy.

He has gone to Mechanicsville Animal Hosp his whole life and is up to date on all his shots. Sam has several good years to make someone very happy. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you!
