Molly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Molly's Story...
Molly is a very sweet, happy, loving and snuggly ten-year-old, 44-pound, female fawn horse coat Shar Pei looking for a loving guardian.
Molly was found as a stray in Quincy, Illinois. She loves treats and takes them very gently from your fingers. She is full of tail wags and loves to run outside in the yard. Molly is crate-trained and housebroken if taken out regularly.

She loves people of all ages including children; she is loyal to her humans, and is great with other dogs.

It is said that beauty is only skin-deep, but Molly’s beauty is deep within. She is adorable yet has the typical stubborn Shar Pei nature. She also snorts like a piglet which is quite endearing.

Molly’s adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. She is currently at the Tails of Hope shelter in Highland Park, Illinois.

To meet and possibly adopt Molly, please fill in the adoption application at: and follow up by contacting Debbie at 847-571-1860 or or or 847-557-9554.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Chicago Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
