Ruby was found in the street in March of this year, from what we have been told people in the neighborhood kept returning her to her original owners but the owners kept releasing her into the street because they didn't want her. We took her in but ACS told us we couldn't legally keep her unless we adopted her from them, so we did. Everything was going wonderful until she started showing signs of high separation anxiety, she doesn't like to be home alone and we cannot stay at home all day with her. We have tried to leave her in the backyard while we were gone but that hasn't worked we have also tried to keep her in a kennel but that failed as well. We are not sure if it is our household that is triggering her anxiety, an older couple had her for a couple of days and she was the complete opposite in their home. She is a complete sweetheart and we didn't want to get rid of her but we know that our household is not the right one for her.
