This delightful, easy going boy is Buddy! He is quite the gentleman, with excellent manners in all situations. He can be a bit tentative when first meeting new people, but loves affection and within just a couple of minutes he has a happy, wagging tail! He loves affection and petting and is very people oriented.
Buddy likes other dogs and enjoys chasing squirrels with the resident sheltie in his foster home. He did great during a recent visit to the dog park and loved hanging out with the other dogs and doing some exploring. He does not play rough or wrestle and he is not particularly interested in toys, but he loves run and chase games. This little guy is a great walking companion! He has perfect leash manners and he really enjoys outings.
Buddy is a mellow guy and in the evenings he likes to nap on a comfy dog bed, close to his people, but not necessarily right on top of you. He is working on learning some obedience commands and tricks in his foster home. He’s been excellent in his crate at night, trustworthy in the house, and fine when being left alone.
