Ita's Story...
ITA is an 8-month old silkie terrier poodle mix puppy girl weighing only about 8-10 lbs. Our vet helped us guess the breed mixture. ITA came with her name and it is Irish and means "thirst for goodness or knowledge". ITA belonged to an owner who was losing his home and couldn't take her with him. He was given ITA by a breeder who told him that ITA was a rare poodle with straight hair....... Anyway, ITA is very charming and would love to sit on your lap and be with you all day as she did with her former owner. Our vet just updated her on her vaccines and ITA tested heartworm negative, and she is on the schedule to be spayed. This tiny girl is a cutie, does not shed hair on the floor, and is very nice. Please view our policies at georgiapoodlerescue.com and email us for an application for a meet and greet

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ita, a Alpharetta Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Silky Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Silky Terrier for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Silky Terrier puppy from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Silky Terrier breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
