Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Breed: Chihuahua / Miniature Pinscher mix
Age: 5 yrs.
Weight: 10 lbs.
Good with dogs: smaller ones
Good with cats: unknown
Good with kids: no, too skittish right now
Energy level: medium
Good with men/strangers: no, nervous with men
Hypoallergenic: no
Special home requirements or medical: needs a secure home,
Additional info: Sweetie was part of a hoarding case so she was a little shy and insecure at first athough she has warmed up and settled down and is making great progress. She is very obedient and wants to please. She is friendly and affectionate. She loves small dogs but is afraid of larger dogs. .She is crate trained. We do not recommend her for a home with young kids because of her skittishness. She may be a door darter so she needs a secure home because she could take off if she gets scared. She is afraid of men and we are working with her to help her feel more comfortable. We tried to foster her with a home where there were two greyhounds and it was too stressful for her. She would do better as an only dog or at least share her home with a dog closer to her size. She is a sweet girl who seems to have had puppies in the past. She is great on the leash and a good little traveler. She just curls up and goes to sleep in the car. Sweetie is a wonderful companion and a really special girl.
