Portland, Oregon – Meet sweet, shy, Tabo. This 2 year old Tangerine purring machine is about as nice a cat as you are going to find anywhere. He is so pretty and unique, with his soft, full, white ruff and brilliant orange tabby markings, adorably accented with cute white paws.

Tabo is just 2.5 years old and very healthy. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. His owners have lovingly care for him and raised him to be the wonderful companion he is today. Tabo is the ultimate “LOVE CAT”. A warm, snuggly bundle of fur that makes you feel that all is right in the world.

Tabo can be shy when he first meets you. He warms up to you in his own time, and when he feels comfortable and safe, there is no more loving a cat. He’s afraid of small children, as are most cats, but older, respectful children should be able to earn his trust. He is accepting of other cats and dogs as well.

Tabo, along with his friend, Nube, is looking for a very loving home. Their owners are doing a lot of traveling, and the cats are home alone far too much of the time. Additionally, the costs of cat sitters for extended trips are becoming a lot to bear.

The owners would love to see Tabo and Nube and in a loving home with people who have lots of time to spend with them. Whether they are placed together as a pair, or separately, Tabo and Nube and have a lot of love, joy and companionship to offer their new owners.

Tabo is only 2.5 years old. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated and has a clean bill of health. Veterinary records will be provided to his new owners, along with any supplies the owners have for him.

Please offer this gorgeous tangerine and white purring machine the home he needs and deserves today!

There is a $50 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

About Portland Find My Pet A Home

About Our Rescue Group...

We help keep beloved family dogs and cats out of local shelters and rescues!

Orlando area shelters are rescues are filled to capacity, leaving pet owners who can no longer care for their pet with nowhere to turn. Many pets are needlessly being put to sleep, when wonderful, loving homes could have been found for them.
Being placed in a shelter is a very stressful experience for all pets - and having to do so is heartbreaking for their owners. We offer a very good alternative, allowing pets to stay in the loving care of their owners while a new home is located for them.

We have helped many Portland area pet owners in need to place their pet in a home where they have great peace of mind in knowing that their pet is being cherished, well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

In most instances, our pets stay with their owners until a new home can be located. There are some situations which require a more urgent placement, and in these instances, we look for loving foster homes to care for these pets until a permanent home can be located.

Our Adoption Process...

When a pet is placed with our organization, our staff create a very honest and compelling adoption story about the pet, using the information provided to us.
We then spread the word about this pet's need for a new home through a wide variety of online services, and through local outreach.

Interested parties are directed to fill out a formal request to meet a pet, providing in-depth information about themselves.

Before a potential adopter is introduced to a pet, we do careful reference screening and a criminal records check.

Should the pet's owner and the adoptive party agree to an adoption, a formal agreement is entered into, requiring the new owner to agree to keep in touch, ensure the pet's physical and emotional well-being, and provide a safe, happy and healthy home.

They are required to agree that they will not surrender the pet to a shelter or give away the pet - but rather they are to contact our organization so that we can find another suitable home, in the event that they are unable to fulfill their commitment.

The owners deliver the pet to the new owners, so that they can do a home inspection prior to leaving the pet in the new owner's care.

Our organization provides follow-up services, contacting the new owners after the first week, and then every 45 days for the first nine months post-adoption. This helps ensure the pet is being well cared for, and that the new owners have any support they need in adjusting to life with their new companion,
