Pepper's Story...
Courtesy Posting This Border Collie is Not Part of This Group Please Contact: Ms Garcia @ If you want to know more about Pepper please email and introduce yourself and the lifestyle you will offer Pepper. Pepper is a Houston area adoption only. She is 3 yrs old, house trained, leash trained, and fully vetted. Weight: 34 lbs. Activity Level: Companion/Active Companion; Black.White Rough Coated Border Collie; Pepper is a darling young Border Collie. She is a shy upon meeting new people for the first time, thus we are looking for an outgoing home. Pepper is up for anything you enjoy: long leash walks in the park, light jogging, or quieter times at the dog park as she loves dogs. She would do well in a home with another confident dog sharing her human time/cuddles/lap snuggle time or by herself soaking up all her human has to offer with children in the home 8 and older. No apartments please. She would do best in a house with a fully fenced yard and a patient person to have active fun with while meeting new people. Pepper is very well behaved in the house. We are asking for Houston area residents only. A meet and greet is required along with a home visit. Adoption fee is $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Houston Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Houston, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
